Perform various electrical duties from: general wiring, electro-mechanical equipment repair, installation of equipment, etc. Assist by pulling wires, installing, lift & pull conduits & cables, and perform routine electrical equipment maintenance as necessary. Operate drills & tools. Must be able to climb ladders and pass a pulmonary fit test Must be able to interface with a wide variety of personnel and take direction well.
SHIFT IS DAYS, MON - FRIDAY; BUT, WITH SUFFICIENT NOTICE, MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK OFF SHIFT WHEN REQUESTED.

MECHANICAL PROPERTIES LABORATORY ENGINEER (back to top)
Position is responsible for assuring test programs and work flow requirements are met. A detailed understanding of mechanical property test methods and quality procedures are a plus.
Provide oversight and technical support to mechanical and properties lab techs' daily activities and schedules. Generate technical & final testing reports for internal/external customers. Provide customers with technical & cost proposals and interact with Test Lab customers for costing, scheduling, & technical issues. Review, sign-off and analyze data for mechanical lab. Construction of laboratory scale set-up for mechanical experiments. Track consumable & non-consumable usages and order supplies as necessary. Employee performance reviews. Address and resolve department issues.
Experience: Supervision of mechanical lab daily activities & schedules. Oversee mechanical lab testing programs; experience in mechanical testing of ceramic and composite materials & operation of specialized equipment. Strong work ethic.
Education: Minimum of BS in an engineering/technical discipline. Two to five years of related experience and/or training.
