FlexFram™  Flexible Ablative Coatings


FlexFram 605 is a two-component, flexible, self-adhering, self-curing, ablative coating.  FlexFram 605 is available only in a light gray color.

FlexFram 605 was originally developed for thermal protection of missile launching systems from rocket engine blasts; however, because of its toughness, erosion resistance, ablative efficiency and adhesion, FlexFram 605 should be considered for applications requiring short-term substrate protection from intense thermal and erosive environments.

FlexFram 605 NS is available for non-skid applications and FlexFram 605TH for vertical surface trowel applications.  Both offer the same ablative, adherence and curing properties as FlexFram 605.

FlexFram is manufactured and sold under U.S. Patent No. 4,656,095.
